Reuse and Recycle
Each week you’ll receive your delivery in an “I Am A Reusable Bag”. You can choose to reuse this bag however you need, or simply return it and we will be happy to recycle. Throw in your cardboard egg cartons and berry containers and we’ll reuse those when possible. Even send back your plastic produce bags and we’ll recycle those for you too (not reused for packing).
Delivery Bag Swap Program
Purchase a set of insulated bags that we can deliver your produce in with a reusable ice pack. Each bag will have a name tag and will be your set of bags. Simply clean out your bag and leave it out on your next delivery and we’ll swap it out with your other bag. Please note if you are ordering more than one box, or have lots of delivery add-ons you may need more than one set. Forgot to leave out your bags? No worries you’ll just get a standard “I am a reusable” bag for your next delivery. Lost a bag? Purchase an extra one here.
Unfortunately, due to our storage and sorting system, we can only accept insulated bags purchased through us. This allows all the bags to be uniform size and with a consistent placement of name tags so we can find customers bags easily.
Reusable Produce Bag Swap Program
Purchase a set of mesh or cotton reusable bags or provide two sets of your own and we will use those to pack instead of the plastic produce bags each week. Please make sure to wash your bags and leave them out on your next delivery and we’ll swap them out. Please note if your are ordering more than one box, or order lots of delivery add-ons you may need more than one set. Forgot to leave out your bags? No worries you’ll just receive plastic produce bags for your next delivery (which you can send back for us to recycle). Please note if you are providing your own reusable produce bags please make sure each bag is labeled with your first and last name.
Reusing these items not only helps us lower our impact on the earth but also allows us to keep our costs down to our customers allowing us to provide more produce each delivery!
