Common Varieties
The most common variety is green cabbage. Other common varieties include red cabbage and and savoy cabbage.
Storage
Cabbage can store well in the crisper drawer. Leave leaves on the head removing outer damaged layer prior to preparing. If storing a cut head of cabbage make sure to wrap in plastic.
