Storage
Unripe starfruit should be left on the counter at room temperature and turned often. Once ripened wrap in plastic and store refrigerated. Ripe starfruit is mainly yellow with slight marks of green.
To prepare, wash and then cut of the rim of each of the five points. Cut off both ends. Slice and remove seeds.
